25 Years in the Making!
In 2014 Innovate Foods celebrated 25 years in business – a milestone that Tony, the Dumbreck family, and the whole Innovate family were immensely proud of.
Not only had the business weathered recessions and downturns, but the business has also grown tremendously over the last quarter of a century – becoming the first-choice supplier for several the world’s leading foodservice brands.
To mark the occasion in February 2014 The Rt Hon Alistair Carmichael MP, Secretary of State for Scotland visited to tour the facility and meet staff.
Mr Carmichael was accompanied by George Eustice MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for farming, food and marine environment. They both were said to be eager to visit a company that has become one of the UK’s leading food producers in its marketplace.
Claire Baker MSP also visited in March 2014. She said of her visit: “I was delighted to visit Innovate Food as they celebrate their 25th anniversary and see first-hand the work in running such a successful local business. The reach of Innovate Food, not just here in Scotland but across Europe and throughout the world is a great success story for Kirkcaldy and of great benefit to the local economy.”
