Matthew McWilliams
Technical Manager
Matthew has been with the Dumbreck family most of his working career, initially as a teen and student on the Mushroom Farm. He joined Golden Crumb Produce in 1997 soon after graduating University with a degree in Analytical Chemistry.
Matthew became Technical Manager in 2006 of rebranded Innovate Foods and has been a central contributor to the growth and evolution of the business to its current day status.
He has facilitated well over 100 Food Safety & Quality audits to multiple audit standards and implemented and developed the company’s HACCP and Quality management system. He has also facilitated Innovates BRC Global Food Standard since its inception in 2001 and continues to achieve today’s AA+ BRC accreditation.
He was recently seconded to a Frostkrone business in USA where he worked with and guided the team to achieve its SQF Audit.
In his spare time, Matthew can be found nurturing his vegetable allotment, he enjoys cooking, hillwalking and has a passion for travel.
